Entrecard Advert Declined

Not too long ago I published a post about having my Entrecard ads for Kids of Queers rejected. I had a great response from the Entrecard users who were delighted to have me place my card on their website or blog. You can catch up here and see who all the decent bloggers are out there. Make sure you frequent their sites as they are great ones.

I’d like to say that after that post I received no more rejections but sadly that is not the case. I don’t even try to advertise this blog on Entrecard any more because I really don’t like the rejection even if it is only from a bunch of stay at home moms who have no sense of humor or sense of decency. I still feel rejected and it sucks. My other blogs never get rejected, I have never rejected an ad and I don’t know any other blogger who gets their ads rejected as much as this one does. I do know others who get rejected as much and they all have some form of gay, lesbian, queer in the name of their blog.

Let me just say here that I don’t think one chooses to be gay. I don’t think someone can catch being gay by being around others who are gay (but wouldn’t that be fun if it were possible?) and I certainly don’t think that you can catch gay by having a 125 X125 card on your site that references a gay themed blog.

Let me also say if you have rainbows on your blog you are going to be harassed by people like me who assume you are a gay friendly blog because of the rainbow. For those of you who skipped Gay Friendly 101, rainbows mean you are either gay or you want to attract the glbt audience to your site. My dentist, who is not gay but wants to attract more clients added a rainbow to his advertising. He has increased his practice considerably and hanging out in the waiting room is a lot more fun that before. There are many churches in my area who have done the same thing. If you are a homo hating closed minded person who wants to raise homo hating closed minded little children you would do well to stay away from blogs with rainbows as well as dentists and churches. You would also do well to remove the rainbow from your site as you are attracting the very group of people whom you abhor.

I listed the people who welcomed my ad last time. I linked to them as well. I am going to list the people who recently rejected my ads but I’m not going to link as that would defeat the purpose of this post. If you see your blog listed here you should be ashamed of yourself.
